Your support is badly needed
Your support is badly needed. The recent (2020) Rapid Assessment of Avoidable Blindness (RAAB) Report commissioned by the Nepal Government shows that while the overall incidence of preventable blindness is reducing nationally, it is increasing in many remote areas. The statistics also show that on average 75% of preventable blindness is caused by cataracts.
Untreated cataracts have a devastating effect on social cohesion in remote communities, financial independence, and the quality of life for patient and family.
